Although Valentin Yudashkin is for many years well-known and appreciated in the fashion industry, it is still a pleasure for me to observe how Russian designers gain more and more appreciation in Paris.
The presentation has begun with bad news, due to some health problems the designer couldn’t make it to the fashion walk, his daughter and the successor of the fashion house, Galina Yudashkina replaced him at the event.
In spring-summer 2017 collection, the designer has combined sport, luxury and femininity in a whole and complete style.
The white color is basic in this collection. It is complemented by different shades of blue, pastel shades, and some black accents. Satin, chiffon, bead and bugle bead embroideries, metallic inserts, all of these combined with a sporty cut and blended in a harmonizing minimalist classical style; the style that Valentin adores.
The fashion walk was ended by the cute final walkdown of Galina Yudashkina accompanied by her little son!
